I, (Mike Dale), have been self-employed as a kitchen specialist for the past 22 years and have installed over 400 kitchens. Myself and my team of experienced kitchen fitters can offer you a complete service from planning to installation including all aspects of the build, electrics, plumbing, tiling and flooring. If you choose East London Kitchen Designer, not only will you have my full attention, but also gain a creative collaborator. You’ll have one single point of contact throughout the entire project, from design to installation and payments. To begin, you’ll receive an initial layout via email which allows you to digitally walk through the kitchen space; and from there, we perfect the design together with your feedback in mind. We itemise costs for easy comparisons too. Unlike many of the larger “sheds” found in retail parks, I am accessible anytime if there is an issue that needs addressed.

A new kitchen build is a big deal, and even though some settling is bound to happen with any new construction, small periodic check-ups and adjustments will keep your kitchen healthy for the long run.

My goal is to create a kitchen that you enjoy and will provide you with many years of trouble-free service. From concept to conclusion, the small but highly experienced staff at East London Kitchen Designer will ensure that your new kitchen is planned, constructed, and installed to the highest possible level of quality.

Not only do we offer a 3 year guarantee on our installations, but the manufacturers also provide their own guarantees.

BESPOKE DESIGN

No matter what style you’re going for, we have enough sets in stock to furnish your home. If a certain design isn’t available, don’t worry! We can always construct custom cabinets from a variety of woods. If you need more storage or work space (or both), we can reconfigure your kitchen to better suit your needs. We may even move walls and doors around to give you an entirely new layout – whatever you need, we can make it happen.

PAYMENTS

I only require a deposit when you’re ready to begin, with the rest of the balance due upon completion. My competitors usually demand full payment upfront which can be difficult to retrieve if something happens and they cannot be reached. On the other hand, one-man bands will constantly ask for money throughout the process while providing no safety net if everything goes wrong. You may also wonder what my price includes? Everything! All labor, all materials, appliances (even dishwashers), tiling and flooring included in up front cost.

The only person who will care about your new kitchen as much as you do is Mike. He is a thoughtful and knowledgeable designer who really listens to what you want and how you live. He offers his advice and expertise but allows for individual choices. He is also very patient when you can’t decide on a design first time! We made three hour long visits to Mike in the design stage and at no point did we feel rushed or like we were being a nuisance.

Neil was the kitchen fitter for our job. He was personable, polite and a pleasure to have in the house. His work was of the highest quality (we come from a family of builders and decorators and can be a bit critical but really there was nothing to find fault with). It was attention to detail and high quality work all round. And Mike project managed the whole thing which was frankly wonderful as it took all the stress out of the situation.

The project was a complete kitchen refit including electrical work and straightening a wonky wall and a wonky floor. It took three weeks (as predicted) and we are now really enjoying our new kitchen. After the final payment, Mike sent round some extra shelves we asked for and we had the fridge door altered very slightly. All of this with no questions, no delays and no hidden extra payments.

Mike and his colleague Jamie were nothing but completely professional while undertaking our kitchen renovation. The design process and quotation was very quick – only a few days. The kitchen took 4 weeks for delivery and as soon as it arrived Mike and Jamie began work and finished a week later. I would definitely recommend Mike – he is thoroughly knowledgeable, easy to work with, the finances are very clear and he works to a standard.
I had quite a few ‘extras’ done on the job once we got going – things that wouldn’t be part of a kitchen fit out – and the price for those were reasonable considering the work done.
When choosing the equipment we listened to Mike and got really good equipment (ovens, dishwasher, f/f, tap, sink). He knows what works – we wanted quality kit but not the silly-priced stuff.
Martin was the main fitter – he was an excellent and skilled tradesman and a pleasure to have around.
Having now used it for about 8 months, we remain delighted. It all looks great and works well and as well as it did at handover (which does not take place until you are happy with it).
